Jacob Fisher

Editor, Journalist, and Broadcaster

Jacob Fisher has been at The Mustang Post for three years. He directs Sheyenne Mustang Media, involving himself deeply within the featured content and hardware that makes livestreams happen. In his free time, Jacob builds computers, writes about technology, and doomscrolls on Twitter.  

Brooke Markworth

Editor & Journalist

Brooke Markworth is a junior at Sheyenne High School. This is her third year in journalism. She enjoys writing feature articles as well as giving information on specific daily events. She is  captain for the Sheyenne Cheer Team and enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs.

Hailey Boehme

Assistant Editor & Journalist

Hailey Boehme is a sophomore at Sheyenne High School in her second year of journalism. Outside of journalism, Hailey participates in basketball and volleyball. She is passionate about animals, mental health, and a variety of sports. Her favorite football team is the Minnesota Vikings. 

Jaxson Miller

Journalist & Sports Commentator

Jaxson Miller, a sophomore in his second year with the Mustang Post, is an athlete of basketball, baseball, football, golf, and track. He writes and commentates sporting events and runs the sports segment Off the Court with Jaxson Miller. As an only-child, Jaxson lives with his parents in Shadow Wood.

Catlyn Anderson

Journalist

Catlyn Anderson is a junior at SHS, and this is her first year with the Mustang Post where she also enjoys broadcasting which has opened future careers. Her outside interests are cheer team and watching shows like Supernatural and the Vampire Diaries with friends and family.

Ameera Gaal

Journalist

Ameera Gaal, is a junior at Sheyenne High School. This is her first year in journalism where she enjoys writing community-based articles. She enjoys sleeping in, binging Bobs Burger, reading manga, going out with her friends, and annoying her cat.

Logan Jacobs

Journalist

Logan Jacobs is a freshman at Sheyenne High School. This is his first year with the Mustang Post. In his free time he plays chess, watches Mang0 and Ludwig on Twitch, and plays a lot of “rouge-like’s” and “metroidvania’s.”

Lauren Johnson

Journalist

Lauren Johnson is a junior at Sheyenne in her second year of journalism. Her articles are community focused and written to inform. Lauren was raised in Colorado and recently made the move from Denver to West Fargo. She hopes to pursue a career in the creative writing industry.

Keona Munowenyu

Journalist

Keona Munowenyu, a senior in her first year with the Mustang Post, loves entertainment and is a long-time member of performance-based activities such as forensics’ poetry and humorous interpretations and won a poetry championship at a speech tournament. In her free time, she enjoys watching TV with her family.

Carter Philips

Journalist and Broadcaster

Carter Phillips is a sophomore at Sheyenne High School. This is his second year working for the Sheyenne Post as the host, editor, and director of the bi-weekly broadcasts, event streams, and writer of film-related articles. With his friends, Carter writes and directs his own film productions.

Logan Staska

Journalist and Broadcaster

Logan Staska is a senior at Sheyenne High School. This is his first year in journalism. Logan enjoys watching TV and sports with his dog Daisy and spending time with his friends and family. Logan plays lacrosse for the Red River Vally Polars as defenseman and hopes to attend Minneapolis Community and Technical College for audio-engineering.
