The Mustang Post’s 2022-2023 staff

Hailey Boehme

Editor in Chief & Journalist

Hailey Boehme is a junior at Sheyenne High School in her third year of journalism. Outside of journalism, Hailey participates in basketball at Sheyenne, DECA, Student Council, NHS, and volleyball for Volt Volleyball Club. She is passionate about animals, mental health, and a variety of sports.

Jaxson Miller

Journalist & Sports Commentator

Jaxson Miller, a junior in his third year with the Mustang Post, is an athlete of basketball, golf, and track along with being a former football and baseball player. He is the sports commentator for Mustang Media. As an only-child, Jaxson lives with his parents in West Fargo.

Carter Philips

Journalist and Broadcaster

Carter Phillips is a junior at Sheyenne High School. This is his third year working for the Mustang Post as a writer of film-related articles. Carter is a filmmaker responsible for They Came from the Attic (2022). He is currently shooting the anthology horror The Lost Memories of Slumber.

Logan Jacobs

Journalist

Logan Jacobs is a sophomore at Sheyenne High School. This is his second year with the Mustang Post. In his free time he plays Valorant and SSBM. He also enjoys watching Ludwig and shroud.

Dairell Alvarico

Journalist

Dairell Alvarico is a junior at Sheyenne High School. This is her first year working with the Mustang Post. She uses most of her time reading books of different genres and sometimes writes her own stories to pass time. She loves jogging and working out during her free time after school and enjoys making prompts on AI websites such as AI Dungeon and Midjourney.

Benjamin Lopez

Journalist

Benjamin Lopez is a senior at Sheyenne High School. This is his first year at the Mustang Post, and he is also part of the Yearbook planning team. Outside of school his interests are collecting things, such as coins, and is enlisting in active duty in the Army. He is currently teaching himself Russian.

Ashleigh Varing

Journalist

Ashleigh Varing is a freshman at Sheyenne High School. She enjoys multiple forms of art, including painting, writing, and music. She spends a majority of her free time creating short stories and listening to songs. Her favorite band is BTS.

Jacob Fisher

Assistant Editor

Jacob Fisher has been at The Mustang Post for four years. He directs Sheyenne Mustang Media, involving himself deeply within the featured content and hardware that makes livestreams happen. In his free time, Jacob builds computers, writes about technology, and doomscrolls on Twitter.
