Per submission, you may submit one short story.

Per submission, you may submit up to six works of art (as separate images).

Use of AI

We do not consider A.I.-generated works. Do not submit any work that has been written by AI, has been generated by AI, has been edited or revised using AI, or has used AI in its creation in any way. AI-submitted works will result in your banning from publication through mustangpost.news.

Publication Rights

Upon acceptance of your work, The Mustang Post claims right of first publication. Upon publication, full rights revert immediately back to you.

We only consider works that you own rights to. If your work has been published elsewhere, ensure rights have been reverted to you.

Poetry Document Formatting

Poetry must be submitted as an MS Word document. We will attempt to maintain your formatting as closely as possible on our website.
